Blainroe Golf Club will play host to the 2019 AIG Leinster Senior Cup finals this weekend.
Eight clubs will compete for the competition, starting with the quarter-finals and semi-finals on Saturday, the 24th of August.
The tournament will culminate with the final on Sunday morning.
The victorious team will then go on to represent Leinster at the All-Ireland finals, in Westport, in late September.
In a statement, Blainroe expressed their delight at hosting the competition, saying:
“The standard of player at this level is extremely high with most players having a plus handicap and with many Irish International players (past and present) competing for their clubs with a spread of clubs from Louth to Wexford.
“This event is for the cream of the crop in Irish golf and will offer us an opportunity to highlight the course to a new audience.”
