Wicklow TD Minister Simon Harris has welcomed the confirmation of €100,000 in CLAR funding for Knockananna and Rathcoyle NS.
Speaking as he announced the funding, Minister Simon Harris said:
“I visited Knockananna and the surrounding communities with Minister Ring recently to highlight the excellent work being done through his Department’s funding. CLÁR funding is extremely important for our County and in recent years we are really starting to see the benefit of the Department of Rural and Community investment in rural Ireland.”
“Today I am really delighted to confirm that €50,000 will be provided to Knockananna for footpath works and a further €50,000 has been granted to Rathcoyle NS for the development of a Multi Use Games Area.”
“This funding will significantly benefit local communities as both will help people to get out and about more. As Minister for Health and Wicklow TD, I am determined to ensure we develop the best possible amenities and facilities across the county.”
