New Primary Care Centre for Rathdrum

Zest Healthcare a Limerick based promoter and developer of Primary Care Centres nationwide has recently completed the purchase of the Rathdrum Town Centre for the local Primary Care Centre and other facilities .

The development of the Rathdrum PCC is the fourth development that Zest are carrying out with a fifth to follow in the coming weeks.

The Rathdrum development is of a PCC building incorporating extensive accommodation for the HSE public health services and a GP area also with a local GP practice to commence practicing from the PCC when completed. It will circa 14,350 sq ft in total size for all the buildings .

Nearby on the site will be the development of a new Library to be leased by Wicklow County Council , together with a new Pharmacy and a third premises that will be occupied also with the final use under current negotiation.

The “ development of the site and construction of the PCC will commence in October ‘19 and will be completed by end of November ‘20” John Webb-O’Rourke a Director of Zest Healthcare has advised . He goes on to say that Zest are delighted to have completed the purchase and thank the site owners Pintaurus Ltd and also Wicklow County Council for their co-operation throughout.

The Rathdrum PCC will be a town centre hub for the delivery of the best community healthcare available in the area . Zest were also supported throughout by the local Cllr. Pat Kennedy and are very grateful for this also.
