Luke O’ Toole’s
A huge congratulations to the Luke O’ Toole’s U12 hurling team who won the U12 Hurling Player Pathway A Final on Friday last. It was a fantastic team performance and it is well deserved . The Coaches of Sean O’ Shea, Majella O’ Shea and Donal Rice have worked hard with this great bunch of players and helped get them over the line against a very good St Pats side. Adam Lifely and Callum Keenaghan had the honour of lifting the trophy as joint captains on the night. The team won on a score of 2-7 to 1-6 with the scores coming from J Lambert 0-4, A Lifely 1-1, C Keenaghan 1-0, B Kealy 0-1, M O’ Shea 0-1, but it was the fantastic defence that was the foundation stone to this win with P Carroll, P Byrne, D Rice, C Duffy and B Kealy playing out of their skins. Team: P Carroll, D Rice, P Byrne, C Duffy, S Byrne, B Kealy , C Wilson, M O’ Shea, C Keenaghan, B Tallon, A Lifely , G Doyle, L Cronin, J Lambert M Keogh, T Healy, C Sheridan, J O’ Reilly, P Toomey, D Duffy. Well done to all. The club would like so send huge congratulations to our star full forward James Lambert too on his All- Ireland success in the recent All-Ireland Fleadh. James won the tin whistle All-Ireland competition and was placed second in the All- Ireland Button Accordion Competition. A massive achievement for a very talented person.
