Can you imagine a world without bees?

Can you imagine a world without bees?  Calling on all aspiring poets in 5th and 6th class to sharpen pencils and compose a poem with that title  ‘A World Without Bees’.

Just 3 verses or 12 lines is required to enter the competition as part of the Ashford Honey Festival.  Deadline is Thursday September 12th and all entries will be collected from your school by a respresentative of the Ashford & District Beekeepers Association on Friday 13th September.

Judging is by poet Rosy Wilson and winners will be announced at the Festival on September 21st at 3.00 pm in the Heritage Centre in Ashford.
