SPLIT THE POT 

The lucky winners of  €232 in our Split the Pot draw for Scoil Aodan Naofa Carnew was Denise Osborne and Florrie Bower.  Congratulations. The sellers prize was won by Ruby Gregan who won a €10 voucher for Victors and the lucky dip winner was Leanne Twamley. Next draw is Friday 27th September.. Thank you for all the support.

 

Ballyellis NS – Split the Pot

Winner of “Split the Pot” on Friday 20th  September  2019    is Laura & Rory Butler, Park, Ballyellis –   winning €183.   We thank everyone for supporting “Split the Pot”. Envelopes can be obtained from the School or any Parent and from Ashling Walsh after Sunday  Mass in Askamore Church.. Draws will take place every Friday morning in Ballyellis School. Many thanks for your continued support.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Sarah Breen, Ferns who died during the week.
To the family and relatives of Rose Keogh, Graiguemore née Claudy, Co Derry who died during the week and was buried on Thursday in Kilrush cemetery.
GAA LOTTO 
Carnew GAA lotto was won by Shauna Kehoe winning €3,800. Lucky dips were Niamh Byrne c/o Tina. James Driver c/o Kenny’s. Eileen and James Doran. Kathy Cosgrave, Tomacork. The next draw is 30th September in McCrea’s and the jackpot is €2,000.
TINAHELY WALKING CLUB 
The following are the walks for the next two weeks for Tinahely Walking club on

September 29: Club walking weekend.October 6: Kaideen. Level B, 10 km, 3 hrs. Meet Tinahely 10 am or Michel Dwyer car park 10.30 am.

As usual, please remember to wear proper walking boots, pack full rain gear and bring adequate food & drink. Please check Tinahely Walking Club Facebook page for any changes to the scheduled walks.

There is a 8 week Introductory Course in The Healing Art of Mindful Writing , evening course starting on Wednesday 2nd October from 7.30 – 9pm or morning course starting on Thursday 3rd October 10-11.30 am in Transformations Studio, Donishal, Carnew, cost is €100, a deposit of €30 to be paid by 18th September to secure your place.
Write from the Heart – My healing art of mindful writing course  is designed to help you discover and experience the joy, peace and calm at the heart of your being. It’s a simple yet deeply profound mindful practice which is applicable in a very practical way to everyday life and how you live it. It’s also enormous fun. The next Bingo in St Bridget’s Hall, Carnew is on Sunday 6th and 20th October, all monies raised will go towards the hall renovation fund, thanks to everyone for their support to date it is greatly appreciated.
