Reminder to Landowners to Cut Back Trees and Hedges

Hedge cutting season runs to 29 February 2019.

Reminder that trees,  hedges or other vegetation must be maintained.

This is in the interest of road safety.

Growth should not interfere with the maintenance of the public road or footpaths.

Branches,  which jut out onto the road or footpaths,  should be cut back.

Maintenance of roadside vegetation is a requirement of the Roads Act.

Wicklow County Council will enforce the legislation.

Centrepiece is the Dave Flynn composition after which the duo is named !!
