This is a superb movie featuring one of the world’s greatest soul singers.

We see Aretha Franklin’s powerful performance.

In LA’s New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in 1972.

If you have any love at all for Gospel and soul music,  then this is the movie for you.

Amazing Grace is the real thing.

Filmed over two nights,  you will see soul music at its source … in church.

With the Southern California Community Choir.

For a night to remember !!

The double live album of the performances became an instant classic.

But we had to wait for Sidney Pollack’s film documentary.

And here it is now,  right here in Greystones,  at the beautiful Whale Theatre.

Bear Paw Deli Southern Comfort Menu includes Mama Bear’s Braised Farrelly’s Beef Brisket,  Mac and Cheese,  Southern Style BBQ Beans,  Blackened Corn,  Mash and Slaw,  Bear Paw Hot Sauce and a House Salad.
