Arklow business A Touch of Class has won the “Masseuse of the Year 2019”.
The competition was fierce but Sinead Dodd, A Touch Of Class was crowned winner in the Masseuse of the Year category and took the trophy home.
Speaking after the event Sinead said “I can’t believe I won the award, I totally wasn’t expecting it at all. Hearing my name being announced as the winner was honestly the best feeling in the world & I will never forget that moment. My little salon is located in the Coral Leisure Centre in Arklow & has been up & running for the last two years. I am a beauty therapist & a make up artist, as well as a masseuse & I offer all treatments, but massage has always been my biggest passion. Winning this award means the world to me. Spending everyday listening to people snore has finally paid off.”
“I want to say a massive thank you to all of my clients who voted for me & who have supported me from day one. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for them. The salon has became a huge success over the last two years & the continued support is so overwhelming. I have put my heart & soul into making something of myself & I work hard 7 days a week doing crazy hours, but every second has been worthwhile & it just goes to show that hard work really does pay off and if you want something bad enough, it will happen. This is the dream for me, so thank you to everyone who made that happen. I hope I can go on to win more awards in the future. “
