Motorists are being advised to use caution when travelling on the wet roads this evening.

Spot flooding has been reported in parts of West Wicklow.

The road between Rathdangan and Talbotstown has been described as very dangerous, after the river Douglas burst its banks.

A number of crashes have also been reported around the Tullow area in Co.Carlow.

A Status Yellow Rainfall is in place until 9pm this evening.
