Yoga for adults in Aughrim with Yvonne on Mondays 9.30-10.45am and Wednesdays 8-9.15pm. €60 for 6 weeks or €13 drop in rate. 

Also taking bookings for new 5 week yoga & meditation course for 10-14yr olds starting wed, Nov 6th, 6-7pm.

Investment for this new junior course:€40.

GAA News

Our annual Race Nite fundraiser takes place next Saturday night in Paddy’s Bar at 9 p.m. Please come along and support this fundraiser and social night for the club.  Our A.G.M is fixed for Friday November 29th at 8 p.m. in the Sports complex and all members, ex members and new members are welcome to attend.   

After a very successful year at juvenile level, a presentation evening to hand out the many trophies and awards to the various teams at all age groups has been arranged for Saturday 16th in the sports complex at 4pm.

Table Quiz

Aughrim ICA is running a table quiz in O’Toole’s Pub on Friday night November 8th.  The quiz will start at 9.30 and should be a fun evening. 

Tai Chi & Qi Gong Classes
Learn gentle flowing healing movements that relieve stress, improve flexibility and mobility.  Tai Chi & Qi Gong Classes are commencing on Wednesday evening September 4th. from 7 – 8 pm at Aughrim Sports & Leisure Complex. The cost is € 80 for a block of 8 classes. Beginners Welcome.

Active Retirement

Chair yoga continues on Tuesday mornings. Line Dancing takes place on Friday mornings at 11am in the Parish Hall. Everyone is welcome to join. Our speaker at next month’s meeting is Emer Meighan from SAGE which is an advocacy group representing vulnerable and older people.

The numbers: 8, 9, 10 and 27 drawn in this week’s Aughrim Sports club lotto October 21st.  The jackpot was not won and there were no match three winners.  The jackpot is €2700.  The weekly lotto supports Aughrim Camogie Club, Aughrim GAA club, Aughrim Rangers Soccer club and Aughrim sports complex. People who support the weekly lotto are lending support to the local sports clubs who are very much part of the community.

Town & Country Market

A warm welcome to all at Aughrim Town & Country Market, Rednagh Road, every Saturday from 10am-2pm. Enjoy the buzz in the Pavilion Cafe as you catch up with friends over coffee and treats.
