TOURNAMENT
There will be a rings tournament on 2nd November at 9.30pm in McCrea’s Lounge Carnew, admission only €5 with a door prize and raffle on the night, all proceeds towards Carnew Christmas lights appeal, all welcome or if you would like to purchase a ticket contact Anto in the vegetable shop.

COFFEE DOCK
The coffee dock in Askamore is now open on Monday – Friday morning from 9am – 1pm, coffee/tea/hot chocolate and a biscuit €2, the state of the art coffee machine takes €1 or €2 coins, self service. We have been asked to organize talks of interest for all ages, so if you have a topic you would like discussed please let us know. Why not meet your friends or family and have a cuppa and a chat .
CHRISTMAS CONCERT
A Christmas concert will take place in Kilrush Church on Friday 6th December with music by Des Willoughby and the Celtic Brothers, admission €20, special offer for families.
FINCHES FITNESS
The fit for anything group is very popular with people who may have health issues or want to take gentle exercise at their own pace. If you would like to take part come along on Wednesday mornings from 11.15am – 12.15pm and stay for a cup of tea/coffee and a chat afterwards.
Pilates classes take place at 8.45amevery Wednesday morning followed by fitness class at 10am, if you are interested please come along or contact Finches Fitness on 0868468165.
The Pilates classes also takes place on Friday evenings at 6.45 pm in Colaiste Bhride, Carnew followed by the fitness class at 8pm.
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS APPEAL
Reminder to please return your Christmas Lights Donation Envelope to Carnew Training & Development Centre as soon as you can. We will appreciate any donation, however big or small. The main thing is that everyone knows that we have to raise money to light up the street for Christmas, unfortunately we are only starting out again and we need a lot of money to replace the old stock of lights – bit by bit we can get there but it is going to take time and money. Thank you for your support.

The next Bingo in St Bridget’s Hall, Carnew is on Sunday 3rd and 17th November all monies raised will go towards the hall renovation fund, thanks to everyone for their support to date it is greatly appreciated.

November 03: Askinagap. Level B, 10 km, 3 hrs. Meet Tinahely 10 am or Askinagap 10.30 am.
November 10: Avondale. Level B-, 10 km, 2.5 hrs. Meet Tinahely 10 am or Rathdrum carpark 10.30 am.
As usual, please remember to wear proper walking boots, pack full rain gear and bring adequate food & drink. Please check Tinahely Walking Club Facebook page for any changes to the scheduled walks.
CANDLE OF HOPE CERMONY
The Hope Cancer Support Centre would like to invite all those who have been touched by cancer (or other illnesses or loss) to join them at their annual Candle of Hope Service on Friday 1st November in St. Aidan’s Cathedral Enniscorthy at 8pm. If you are unable to attend you can still partake by lighting your own candle and listening to South East Radio who will broadcast the service live on air.

As drivers operate these vehicles they fall under the legislative guidelines within the ‘Code of Practice’.
