Minister for Education to officially open Rathnew primary school

Minister for Education Joe McHugh is set to officially open St Coen’s National School in Rathnew this morning.

The school is an amalgamation of the former St. Joseph’s GNS and St Ernan’s BNS schools in the village.

The new building, located in Merrymeeting, opened its doors for the first time during the 2018/19 school year.
