Motorcyclist dies following collision on N81

A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car on the N81 this afternoon.

The incident took place around 3.30, a second motorcyclist was injured and was taken to Tallaght University Hospital.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

The N81 remains closed in both directions until further notice between Poulaphouca and Hollywood.

Gardaí are at the scene and diversions are in place.
