Ballyellis NS – Split the Pot
Winner of “Split the Pot” on Friday 8th November 2019 is the Sheridan Family, Munny – winning €150. We thank everyone for supporting “Split the Pot”. Envelopes can be obtained from the School or any Parent and from Ashling Walsh after Sunday Mass in Askamore Church.. Draws will take place every Friday morning in Ballyellis School. We have new courses like our Forklift Training Course starting this month. Suitable for Beginners, those who wish to renew their certificate or participants who have experience but have no certification. All certified by: RTITB, along with some other training courses that might be of interest to you.

HERITAGE CLUB
Carnew Heritage Club are holding their presentation night on Friday 12th November at 9pm in Kenny’s The Corner House, the charities are Friends of local people with MS, St Aidan’s Centre, Gorey and Carnew Community Care, anyone who helped out on the day is welcome to come along on the night.
CABARET
The annual cabaret for Tomacork will be held on Friday 6th December at 9pm in Coollattin Golf club, admission €5 with a door prize, raffle, music by John Flood, all support welcome.
GAA LOTTO
Carnew GAA lotto was not won, numbers were 2,9,24,26, lucky dips were John Hall c/o Snowy. Tim Balfe. Margaret Doran. M &A Hughes c/o Richard Cosgrave. The jackpot is €2,600 and the next draw is 11th November in Jim Byrne’s.

Carnew Musical Society – Oklahoma
The Countdown Oklahoma will be staged by Carnew Musical Society in St. Brigid’s Hall, Carnew from Monday 25th– Saturday 30th November 2019. Rehearsals are well underway at the moment and what a show it promises to be. Sponsorship and Priority Booking Tickets for the show are now available from committee and cast.
