It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Wicklow Town.
Yes, it is that time of the year again! Not only are the festive lights being switched on at 4pm this Saturday, but it also marks the grand opening of the annual Wicklow Christmas Market.
As ever, the market will take place in the historical Abbey Grounds in the town, and there is something for everyone at this winter wonderland.
This year’s market is open during the following dates of the festive period; the 23rd, 24th & 30th of November, as well as the 1st, 7th, 8th 14th & 15th of December, from 12pm-6pm each day.
There will be plenty of activities and amenities on site for all the family including, but not limited to – a funfair, live entertainment, decorations and gifts stalls, workshops, craft and artisan food stalls, puppet shows and much more.
A Christmas Market would not be complete without the appearance of one jolly round man dressed in red garments. Tickets are available for people to partake in the Santa Express experience, where they will get the opportunity to meet Santa himself and explore the market in his wonderful company.
