Halpins Bridge Café staff to sleep out for Simon Community

The staff of Halpins Bridge Café in Wicklow Town are set to take part in an overnight sleep out on Friday, November 22, to raise money for The Simon Community homeless charity.

The staff will be sleeping out from 8pm on Friday evening until 6am on Saturday morning and hope to raise €1,000 in a bid to provide support to homeless people.

Donation buckets are inside the café and all donations are appreciated.

Speaking about the charity fundraiser, Halpin’s Bridge Café staff said – “We cannot wait to help this wonderful charity and we hope we can reach our target of €1,000.

“This is a charity close to our hearts, especially at this time of year coming up to Christmas, so we would be grateful of all support. There will be donation buckets in Halpins and in other places in the town.

“All donations go directly to the Wicklow Branch of the Simon Community on Kilmantin Hill. If you would like to make a donation or join us on the night, feel free to come down.”
