A wet and windy day is in store for most of Ireland on Wednesday as Met Eireann forecasts heavy showers and strong winds, with potential of flooding in coastal regions.
While showers are expected in most areas, it will be slightly milder than what we have been experiencing of late as temperatures are expected to reach 9 to 11 degrees.
A forecaster from Met Eireann said – “Wednesday will be a mostly cloudy day. Showers will occur widely and will merge to spells of heavy rain across much of the south of the country.
“Wednesday night will be mild and windy with showery outbreaks of rain – some heavy.”
