Landsdowne Dart Station closed for Ireland v Denmark

Landsdowne Dart Station will be closed this evening ahead of Ireland’s make or break Euro 2020 qualifier against Denmark at the Aviva Stadium.

The station will be closed between 5.30pm and 11pm today. Services will resume, but passengers will be required to disembark trains at Grand Canal Dock or Sandymount during these hours.

The initiative is part of a trial run as Dublin prepares to host a number of games during next summer’s European Championships.

The purpose of the exercise is to examine logistics, mobility, safety, security and stadium access prior to next June’s matches.

Supporters are urged to take the closure into account before travelling to the game tonight.
