Carlow born Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan has agreed the sale of her Pine Lodge home in Greytsones for just over €1.6 million, just eight weeks after putting the property on the market.
The property is said to have garnered the interest of a number of potential purchasers, including another Irish actor and a sportsperson, but it has been said that the buyer of the lodge is a private individual.
The Edwardian style home has underwent extensive renovations under Ronan’s ownership and now includes five bedrooms, one with a large walk in wardrobe, five bathrooms, a decorated open plan room, a kitchen and family room amongst other rooms.
When bringing the property to the market, last September, Galvin Property said – “The layout and finish will impress even the most particular and comes to the market ready for the new owners to move in, and invite their family and friends to ‘ooh and aah’.”
Ronan has since acquired a three-bedroom terraced house in London’s fashionable Notting Hill district.
