Active Retirement

Christmas Lunch is on this coming Friday December 13th in Hunter’s Hotel. Bus will leave Lawless’ Hotel at 12.30pm. As usual we will be having our Kris Kindle and some raffle prizes. We continue to meet on Monday mornings at 10.30am for a short walk and coffee afterwards. All welcome.

Customer Event

Avoca hand weavers in Avoca Village  are holding  a  customer event this year in conjunction with Wicklow Hospice on Friday the December 13th from 3-6 pm, lots of festive treats and entertainment for all the family. All those who donate will be entered into a draw for an Avoca Hamper.

Lotto

The numbers: 13 15, 19 and 21 were drawn in this week’s Aughrim Sports club lotto December 2nd.  The jackpot was not won. There was one match three winner: Jane Moules c/o Gossy.   The jackpot is €3600.  The weekly lotto supports Aughrim Camogie Club, Aughrim GAA club, Aughrim Rangers Soccer club and Aughrim sports complex. People who support the weekly lotto are lending support to the local sports clubs who are very much part of the community.

Saturday December 21st Confessions 7.15 pm – 8.00 pm.  Vigil Mass at 8.00.pm.   
Sunday December 22nd: Mass at 10.30.am.  Monday  December 23rd: Mass at 10.00.am.
Tuesday December 24th (Christmas Eve): Confessions 10.am.- 12.00 noon.  Family Mass at 6.00.pm. with the Children’s Choir. The Vigil Mass at 8.00.pm. with Parish Choir.   
Wednesday December 25th (Christmas Day) Mass at 10.30.am. with the Parish Choir

Christmas Cards

A signed Christmas card with a beautiful winter image of our Church is now on sale.  Cards cost €2 each and all proceeds will go towards Church upkeep.  The cards are available after all Masses or from any member of the Parish pastoral council.

Town & Country Market

A warm welcome to all at Aughrim Town & Country Market, Rednagh Road, every Saturday from 10am-2pm. Enjoy the buzz in the Pavilion Cafe as you catch up with friends over coffee and treats. Delicious brunches and light lunches are also on offer.  Fresh local produce available, including organic fruit and vegetables, locally produced meat, eggs, preserves and fresh home baked bread and cakes.
