The Culture Bus will leave Dunlavin at 11am on Saturday March 7th to travel to Dublin to attend a matinee at 2.30pm of The Lieutenant of Inishmore in the Gaiety Theatre. Dunlavin and District Forum are delighted to let you know that we now have our recycling bins installed – glass (brown, green and white) and cans (both food and drink). A sincere thank you must go to Dunlavin GAA Club for providing the site. The onus is on us all now to ensure these bins are used in the manner intended and for no other purpose. We hope that this will be a welcome resource for our community and help us all to recycle that little bit more.

Festival 2020 takes place from June 19th to June 21st. A meeting to organise events for the weekend will take place on Saturday February 29th at 11.30 am in the Imaal Hall. Anyone wishing to get involved is invited to attend.
Sympathy – is extended to Rachel Lynch and family on the recent passing of Rachel’s mother Peggy. Peggy passed away peacefully on January 30th with her funeral taking place in Cabinteely on February 4th.
Sympathy also to Ronat Lillis on the death of her brother Brian. Brian’s funeral took place in Rochdale, England, may he rest in peace.

West Wicklow Historical Society
In 2020 the West Wicklow Historical Society is celebrating 40 years promoting local history. Founded in 1980, the WWHS concentrates mainly on the four western baronies of Co. Wicklow as well as adjacent areas of Carlow and Kildare. A full line-up of events is planned for the year. The Spring lecture programme is as follows.
