A second case of the Coronavirus has been confirmed in the eastern part of the country.
The Department of Health were notified on Tuesday night.
No details were given only that the person was female and had travelled from Northern Italy.
The total number infected with the virus on the island of Ireland is now 3.
RTE News report up to yesterday, 397 people had been tested and the results have been negative. The exceptions are the two confirmed cases.
