It was big baby smiles all round when the winner of Greystones Most Beautiful Baby 2020 accepted his framed cert last week.
Sitting with proud parents Vicky and Aaron, six-month-old Jason Fawcett took his newfound fame and glory in his stride. And was far more interested in biting his rubber giraffe toy than thinking about how he might just spend his prize money.
Now in its fifth year, Greystones’ Most Beautiful Baby attracted a bumper crop of entries for the 2020 title, with each of the 45 babies relying on a public vote to grab that crown.
Sponsored by The Byrne Group – who run The Burnaby and The Beach House in Greystones – there were over 1,000 votes. And Jason managed to find fans as far away as Australia and Japan.
Organised by The Greystones Guide, the online magazine was quick to point out that each and every one of the babies this year deserved to win – and if it had been left to judges, choosing a winner would have taken all year.
