Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Michael Austin, Gorey Road who died last week and was buried on Tuesday in Tomacork cemetery.

To the family and relatives of Kathy Cosgrave (Nee Hammell), Tomacork who died last week and was buried on Friday in Tomacork cemetery.

CONGRATULATIONS

We congratulate Sr Mairead Hayden, Daughters of Charity Carnew on her Platinum Jubilee (70 years in religious life) for her contribution to the parish- visiting homes, helping those in need, distributing Miraculous medals, bringing St Cathrine Laboure relic to the sick, and establishing the Catholic girl guides.

We wish you good good health and many happy years.

CEREMONIES

Carnew parish has mass on Saturday evenings at 7.30pm, Sunday morning at 11am, Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings starting at 7.10pm with rosary. These can be got on Facebook and go into Carnew Tomacork Parish.

Coolfancy is live on Facebook on Saturday evenings at 7.30pm go into Coolfancy parish.Kilrush/Askamore you go into google and put in www.churchmedia.ie click on the three bars in the right hand corner, click on churches and then on St Brigid’s Church Kilrush and then on the play button in the black box, masses are on Monday to Friday 9.30am, Saturday 6pm, Sunday morning 10am.COVID-19

Carnew First Responders and all Responders across the Country are currently not active due to the Virus, if someone you know is having chest pains, breathing difficulties, chocking or any other symptoms please call your doctor or Care Doc or 999 and ask for the ambulance service and they will help you.

Local Defb’s if needed are located at McGirr’s chemist, Candys, IFP factory  on the Aughrim Road, Coolboy has one, Shillelagh has one , Askamore Community Centre has one, there are numerous ones in Tinahely and surrounding areas.Stay safe all.

ASKAMORE PATRON

The Askamore patron is on this Sunday 31st May with mass at 1pm coming from Kilrush through www.churchmedia.ie click on the black bars on the right hand corner, go to churches and click on St Brigid’s Church Kilrush, families can go and visit their graves in their own time and spend a little time in prayer with your deceased, please adhere to the rules of Social Distances and if there’s too many there at the one time please wait or return at a later time.
