WDS supports people with dementia who are living at home.
ALZPALS is a befriending service of WDS.
Volunteers are matched with a person for weekly visits.

Access to the North Pier has once again been closed indefinitely.
This is due to the behaviour of groups of youths.
Reminder that take-away alcohol must be consumed over 100 metres from purchase site.
If it is not, there could be legal implications for the licensed premises who sold the drink.
Greystone Harbour Marina bye-laws do not permit drinking of alcohol.

Greystones Library is now open, modified to comply with strict COVID-19 regulations.
Click and Collect services are still available.
Greystones Playground is now open.
Greystones South Beach has lifeguard on duty until the end of August.
Patrols on duty each day, 11 am to 7 pm.
Bray/Greystones Cliff Walk Remains Closed.
Planning Department Public Counter is open to the public by appointment only.
Motor Tax Public Counters remain closed.
Motor tax can be renewed online or by post to Wicklow County Council.
The public is asked to help with water conservation.

Special help now available for businesses.
Bray Recycling Centre Revised Hours
Bray Recycling Centre is open with revised hours.
Monday to Friday 10 am to 4 pm
Saturday 10 am to 2 pm
Please minimise visits to the centre and wait until you have a larger volume of waste.
Compressing the waste will help to minimise storage.
Please do not approach the staff and put materials into the bins themselves.
Staff will not be able to assist with carrying materials.
Nor take materials directly from the public.
Public entry may be stopped for a few minutes throughout the day to assist cleaning.
These hours will remain in place for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19.
Greystones Public Car Parks Now Reopened
Greystones Public Car Parks are now reopened.
Parking restrictions remain at Kindlestown Woods.
· South Beach Car Park, Mill Road, now open.
· Greystones Park & Ride, now open.
· Trafalgar Road Car Park, now open.
· La Touche Road Car Park, now open.
· Greystones Harbour Marina Car Park, now open.
· Kilcoole Sea Road Car Park will be open after re-alignment.
Parking restrictions remain at the following locations:
· Bellevue Hill at Kindlestown Woods entrance.
· Sea Road Newcastle at the beach railways level crossing access.
Wicklow County Council|Government’s Restart Grant
Applications now open for direct grant aid to micro and small businesses.
Grant will help them with costs of re-opening and re-employing after COVID-19.
Applications are made through Wicklow County Council.

Dedicated community support helpline to assist at risk members of the public.
Established by COVID-19 County Wicklow Community Response Forum.
Forum includes over a dozen agencies and organisations.
