Aughrim Sheep Breeders

Aughrim Sheep Breeders will hold their Annual Sale on Friday, September 4th in Carnew Mart.

Due to current circumstances there will be no Show aspect to the day. Sheep will be penned and sold in the usual Class format.

Community Volunteers

Aughrim community volunteers meet every Friday evening at 6 pm. at Tinakilly Bridge.  New volunteers are always welcome. Come along for a chat and maybe a little work.  Covid19 recommendations strictly adhered to.  


The numbers: 13, 16, 20 and 22 were drawn in this weeks Aughrim Sports club lotto on Monday August 17th The jackpot was not won.

There were no match three winners, or jackpot winner.

The jackpot is €3450. 

People now have the facility to do the Aughrim Sports Club lotto online.  Just go to Aughrim Sports club lotto and take it from there.  

The weekly lotto supports Aughrim Camogie Club, Aughrim GAA club, Aughrim Rangers Soccer club and Aughrim sports complex.

People who support the weekly lotto are lending support to the local sports clubs who are very much part of the community.

Town & Country Market

While we have all been enjoying the recent relaxation of some of the restrictions of late. It is now more important than ever to continue to keep the safe distances & wear face covering into the future to enjoy the beautiful Organic fruit & vegetables, fresh country baking, oven fresh artisan breads, savoury pastries biscuits & eggs & all the crafts jewellery , wood turning & recycled bags , mats Quilts etc available every Sat morning at Aughrim Town and Country Market.
