AVOCA COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT

Two developmental opportunities are available, these jobs will have you Assisting in maintaining church grounds and maintaining grounds in ancillary buildings.

Caretaking and general duties including basic building maintenance, painting, etc. in Hall and ancillary buildings.

Applicants must be prepared to undergo Garda vetting.

Location: St. Saviour’s Church/Hall and ancillary buildings and Kilbride Church, Beech Road, Arklow.

AVOCA GAA LOTTO

Winning numbers were 16, 17, 21, and 23.
There was no jackpot winner this evening.
There was two match three winners this evening.
Congratulations to Thomasina Furlong, Coolgreaney and Carol Kinsella, Avoca who each receive €50.

The seller’s prize this week went to Serena Moore who receives €25.

The next draw will take place every Wednesday and the jackpot will be €2500.

Volunteers are available to assist with grocery, fuel, or pharmacy drops.
If you are aware of someone living alone or someone vulnerable with limited family contact at this time please contact us & we can ensure they have food fuel & their medications.

We have assistance available from the Local Gardaí & can ask them to contact any vulnerable or elderly person who needs assistance or needs advice.

We have over 30 volunteers covering the entire community available to help.

Keep your distance of at least 2 Meters from other persons at all times.
