Carnew notes week August 31st

RECYCLING 

The recycling at Colaiste Bhride Carnew has resumed on Saturday mornings as the new Centre in Tinahely has opened.

Black bags can no longer be accepted along with certain plastic even though no 5 is on them ie butter or margarine tubs, meat and vegetables containers, yougurt bottles.

BINGO

The bingos have been cancelled for the moment due to the HSE guidelines.

COURSES 

Carnew Training and Development Centre has re-opened with numerous courses taking place: 

Saturday 12th, 19th & 26th September PHECC first aid course €300, 9.30 – 4.30pm TBA

Tuesday Certified Principles of HACCP and food safety €140, 9.30-4pm also available online Saturday MEWP Mobile Elavated €200, 9-12noon available on line Abresive wheels €50 at your own pace Infection Prevention and control course €50 Covid19 Compliance Officer course €75 at your own pace.

MASS TIMES

The following are the mass times from 29th August.

Saturday evenings Shilleagh 6.30pm, Carnew 7.30pm (possible changes for summer).

Sunday’s Tomacork 8.45am, Coolafancy 10am, Carnew 11.15am.


KNITTING AND CROCHET 

The items for the premature babies are still being accepted and the Rotunda and Temple Street Hospitals are looking for bereavement blankets size 36×36 in white pink or blue.
