Annacurra notes week September 21st

Annacurra Camogie Club

Thanks to all our supporters who made the trip to Pearse Park today to cheer on the team.

Hard luck to our intermediates today , but everyone played with pride in the jersey and never gave up. Huge credit to them all for making 2 Intermediate Championships finals in a row. Such a great team and they have been a privilege to work with all year for the coaches.

The club would like to give a big thank you to  Martin Byrne owner of who presented the club with a new set of jerseys for the intermediate team.

Good luck to all our U14’s who travel to Pearse’s park this Sunday to take on Knockananna in the 12-aside championship final

Well done to the Ballinglen Minor team for winning the minor shield. A great way to end the year.

The camogie team also had a good year. They didn’t manage to win the intermediate final, but it was an achievement to make the final.

We sympathise with the McAllister, Ivers and Moules families on the recent passing of Sue Moloney (nee Lacey) May she rest in peace
