The drive in bingos have resumed with the new guidelines in place, Carnew GAA club are holding theirs on Sunday 20th September at 2pm all welcome to attend.

The communion in Askamore has been changed to Saturday 19th September at 11am and Kilrush on Saturday 26th at 11am.


Carnew Training and Development Centre has re-opened with numerous courses taking place, Payroll QQI level 5 starting Tuesday 29th September for 10 weeks in the evenings from 7-10pm €280 per person.

Safepass on Saturday 26th September €195 per person limited to 10 people. 2 day PHECC refresher 17th and 24th October €200 per person limited to 6 people. Scoil Aodán Naofa

Scoil Aodán Naofa wishes a long a happy retirement to Caroline Young our former Deputy Principal. We also wish every success to our incoming Deputy Principal, Máire Byrne.

The school is delighted to have finally welcomed back all the boys and girls to school after such a long absence and we wish all in the community a happy and healthy school year ahead.

We wish the children of the First Holy Communion Class every blessing for their big day on Saturday 3rd October and we wish the children of our Confirmation class every blessing for their big day on Sunday 4th October.
