Walking Trails

Following on from our recent Walking Trails Audit where our walking trails were highly commended, we would love to share the beauty & amenities of Askamore and to showcase Sliabh Bhui & it’s amazing views.

With this in mind, we will be holding a series of guided walks around 3 of our trails on Saturday, October 10th at 11am starting from Askamore Community Centre (Y25 F6D8)

Join our group of local guides who will impart their knowledge and let you experience the beauty of Sliabh Bhui and Askamore from either our 6, 9 or 12km trails.

This is a fantastic time of year to get walking boots on and see the Autumnal colours of Askamore.

These trails are all graded moderate and are suitable for all abilities.

There will be a cost of €10 per person and this will include refreshments in our newly renovated community centre afterwards.

And don’t worry, All social distancing & hygiene practices will be adhered to on the day.

We would be delighted if you’d join us on the day and why not bring your friends too!
