She lets us know how not to hold grudges.

Pianist Svetlana Rudenko teams up with Belenus Quartet Ireland.

Tim Doyle,  Niamh Ni Lochlainn,  Aoife Ni Bhrain and Matt Rafter.

They will perform Quintet in F Minor by Cesar Franck (1879).

This music leaves no one unmoved.

Tim Doyle has a composed Nocturne for Piano Quintet.

Nocturne is a reflection on disasters of the natural world.

Whale Theatre|Greystones Film Club|Town of Strangers

Greystones Film Club is back in action !!

Town of Strangers is a beautiful,  independent Irish documentary.

Treasa O’Brien visits the small Galway town of Gort.

With camera in hand,  she lets the natives talk about their dreams,  schemes,  loves.

Let downs and hopes.

Gort has the most diverse population of nationalities in Ireland.

It was hard  hit by the last recession.

Its people are nothing if not resilient.


Treasa O’Brien will be attending the screening for a short Q&A before Town of Strangers.

Whale Theatre|Redmond O’Toole|Eight String Guitar

Redmond O’Toole is one of Ireland’s most respected classical guitarists.

He has played all over the world,  in the finest halls and at the best festivals.

Redmond comes to the Whale Theatre with a wonderful programme.

Hot Spot Music Club|Bone Machine play the Music of Tom Waits

Upstairs @The Beach House,  Greystones Harbour Marina.

Bone Machine captures the character and musical genius of Tom Waits.

An exhilarating performance play to packed houses of adoring fans.

Mr. Waits’ music is uniquely presented with a characteristic authority rarely harnessed.

Bone Machine are a band of internationally renowned touring and recording musicians.

They perform a firebrand,  melancholic and punk jazz set of Tom Waits; songs.

Doors open 8:00 p.m.  Show starts 9:00 p.m.

Whale Theatre|The Visual Story of Ireland with Rosemarie Devereux

7.30 p.m.

Course of 6 lectures,  €100.  Individual lecture,  €20.

Maximum of 30 per class.  New policies and procedures will be in place.

Greystones resident Rosemarie Devereux holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from UCD.

She has been involved with the National Gallery of Ireland and UCD art courses.

Rosemarie has run her art history courses at the NGI and is on its tour guide panel.

Rosemarie now brings her two courses to the Whale Theatre.

The Visual Story of Ireland begins on 7 October 2020.

The Story of Europe|Painting History begins on 29 October 2020.
