Laragh Glendalough notes week October 5th

Located in the Brockagh Resource Centre building our shop shows a passion for the mountains and is here to see and feel in our store, we bring you brands that we know and trust, equipment that we use ourselves in wild and remote places.  

Today, with our highly experienced and qualified team, we continue to offer a range of fun group activities and events for the corporate and private markets. Outdoor training has expanded in the last decade to encourage more absolute newcomers to the outdoors and to also include overseas adventures under the guidance of our skilled, experienced team.

Adult Art

Adult art classes have been postponed until further notice at the Brockagh Resource Centre.

AA Meetings                                                                                                                   Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night all year round.

Yoga Tree Ireland

Yoga Tree classes on Fri mornings and at the Brockagh Resource Centre with Hilde Eiselen. Join our expertly taught yoga classes, suitable for all abilities & ages: from complete beginner to advanced practitioners. Relaxing, dynamic, energising, enjoyable, beneficial and fun yoga for everyone. Emerge strong and calm, ready for anything! Sharing Excess Garden Produce

Anyone with an extra supply of garden food produce you can drop it outside the main entrance of the Brockagh Resource Centre in the crate provided for the community to share. Free cooking apples outside the front door in a container for anyone to have this week.

Happy Days

Now on Wednesday mornings 10.30 -12pm at the Brockagh Centre is for parents/guardians, babies and toddlers who get together a chat and play. It is a great chance to make new friends and share ideas. Contact us at 0404-45600 at the centre for more information.

Tae kwon-Do for Youths and Adults     

Teens and adults will enjoy Taekwon-Do, a Korean art of self-defence. Benefits include improving confidence, respect, discipline, awareness, concentration, channeling aggression, balance, coordination, speed, reactions, fitness and health. Call Master Kenneth Wheatley on 087-2547347 to book. Classes are on Tuesdays at 8-9pm (Seniors & Teens) in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh.

Tae kwon-Do for Children      

Children will enjoy Taekwon-Do, a Korean art of self-defence. Clothes Bank

Don’t forget we have a clothes bank at the back of the building, proceeds are in aid of the centre.

Playground

The playground for Laragh and Glendalough area is situated at the centre. Please don’t bring you dogs into the play area and bring any rubbish home with you.
