Wicklow Town based Donovan Low Energy are asking homeowners in the Wicklow area who wish to upgrade this Winter or in Spring 2021 to get in touch to arrange a free home energy assessment and estimate. The assessment forms part of their One-Stop-Shop Retrofit service in which all aspects of a home energy upgrade are managed by Donovan Low Energy – from initial appraisal and grant application through to site management of works and final sign-off and grant drawdown.
The service is focused on homeowners who wish to substantially improve the comfort levels and energy efficiency of their home,with homes achieving a post-works BER of B2 or better. Measures covered include insulation, draught-proofing, heat pumps, heating controls, windows & doors, ventilation systems and solar PV.
With a combined experience of over 30 years in energy assessment and project management, Donovan Low Energy understand the simple and practical improvements that make homes more comfortable, more energy efficient and more affordable to run. Launching their new One-Stop-Shop service, SEAI-Registered Retrofit Project Manager David O’Donovan commented: “With many of us working from home now, there has never been a better time to make our homes more comfortable and with increased funding from government and low-cost finance available, retrofitting is now a sound investment for both our pockets and the environment.”
