Active Retirement
Hello everybody and a Very Happy & Healthy Christmas to you all!
At last we have some good news – the hard work by Margaret and Anne has paid off and we have a BUS SERVICE!
The lobbying and attendance at meetings has, at last, paid dividends.
There will be four buses on a daily basis from Monday to Saturday from Carlow/Aughrim and Arklow/Carlow and three on Sundays.
Buses from Aughrim to Arklow are at 6.16, 10.29, 15.34 and 19.54.
From Arklow to Aughrim the times are 7.06, 12.06, 16.21 and 20.36.
Margaret has been in touch with Local Link and she has been told a new bus has been commissioned from England for 2021 which will have a lower chassis for easier access.
Keep safe. Keep well. Hopefully we will all meet again in Spring 2021.
