KNITTING AND CROCHET

CHRISTMAS BAUBLES
Askamore are selling the Baubles again this year where you buy a bauble and write on it your intention , for someone sick, or those who have passed away, etc, mass will be said for all the intentions on the Christmas tree on Christmas Day, they are €3 each or two for €5 and can be purchased after mass or from Ashling Walsh. All proceeds from the sale of the baubles this year are going towards the church which is in need of much needed funds at the moment as it is struggling. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

PENITENTIAL SERVICE
The Penitential Service will be held in Askamore Church on Monday 21st December at 6.30pm and in Kilrush at 7.30pm, please wear a mask, use hand sanitizer provided and social distances.

DOG OWNERS
Would dog owners please clean up your dog dirt if you have them out for a walk especially along the paths along the town, down by the churches and over Coollattin Road, it’s terrible when your out for a walk and you don’t see it and step on it and then have to get into your car.
There is lots of bins around the town to dispose of it, many thanks.

The Pop Up Shop on the Main Street, Carnew will open Friday 18th December from 9am – 2pm with Christmas gift sale and great bargains for all the family, all welcome.

VIRTUAL WALK
A Huge thanks too Geraldine Austin who organized a virtual walk and raffle in aid of South Wicklow Hospice Home care .
€810 euro was raised, many thanks too the businesses in Carnew that sponsored prizes and too the ladies that helped out Geraldine on the day .
