The Drive in bingos are back in Carnew on Sunday 27th December and Sunday 3rd January at 2pm in Quinn’s mart Carnew.

Single book €10, Double €15, Baby book €5, prizes 1 line €30, 2 lines €50, full house €100 and every 3rd page €200. Single sheet €3 or two for €5, prizes 1 line €50, 2 lines €100, full house €300. Jackpot sheet €3 each two for €5, prizes 1 line €50, double line €100, full house €500.

VIRTUAL SANTA RUN

There will be a Virtual Santa run on Sunday 13th December at 11am sharp around Bells Lane in aid of South Wicklow Hospice Home Care , lines are €5 with a raffle for a hamper and other prizes available from Geraldine Austin or local shops.

All support is greatly appreciated.

DOG OWNERS 

Would dog owners please clean up your dog dirt if you have them out for a walk especially along the paths along the town, down by the churches and over Coollattin Road, it’s terrible when your out for a walk and you don’t see it and step on it and then have to get into your car.

There is lots of bins around the town to dispose of it, many thanks.

SPLIT THE POT 

The lucky winner of our Split the Pot draw for Scoil Aodan Naofa Carnew was Paul O’Brien who won €356. Congratulations.The winners of our Christmas Hampers were Shane O’Neill,  Sylvester and Timo Pekarcik.Our sellers prize was won by Billy Nolan who won a Victors voucher for €10 and the lucky dip was won by Jack Kennedy. Congratulations to all winners.Our next draw is Friday 11th December.

CARNEW COMMUNITY CARE POP UP SHOP 

The Pop Up Shop on the Main Street, Carnew will open Friday 11th, Friday 18th December from 9am – 2pm with Christmas gift sale and great bargains for all the family, all welcome.

COMMUNITY CARE RAFFLE 
Carnew Community Care are holding their annual raffle which would normally be held at their November Fair, 1st prize €400, 2nd Firewood (value€160), 3rd €50 voucher for Centra, 4th €50 voucher for Topline Correll’s, 5th €50 voucher Ultimate Oil, 6th Hamper, 7th Hamper, tickets are €2 each or 3 for €5 available from the Center, members of the committee or Correll’s Hardware.

Draw will take place on Wednesday 9th December in Carnew Community Day Care Centre.

RECYCLING 

The Recycling Centre at Colaiste Bhride Carnew is open on Saturday mornings from 10am -11.30am.

Ballyellis NS – Split the Pot

Winner of “Split the Pot” on Friday 4th December 2020 is Caroline & Jeremy Butler, Ballyconran  – winning €180.   We thank everyone for supporting “Split the Pot”. Draws will take place every Friday morning in Ballyellis School. Many thanks for your continued support.

CHRISTMAS BAUBLES 

Askamore are selling the Baubles again this year where you buy a bauble and write  on it your intention , for someone sick, or those who have passed away, etc, mass will be said for all the intentions on the Christmas tree before Christmas, they are €3 each or two for €5 and can be purchased after mass or from Ashling Walsh.

All  proceeds from the sale of the baubles this year are going towards the church which is in need of much needed funds at the moment as it is struggling.

Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Masses are back in all churches at there usual times, please wear a mask, social distance and use the sanitizers provided.
