In keeping with the latest Government Level 5 restrictions, until further notice, there will be no Mass in our churches. Moneystown and Roundwood Church will be open for private prayer from 11 am until 2pm each day.  


The Wicklow Mobile Library Service comes to Roundwood on a fortnightly basis starting on the 14th and again on the 28th of January from 2:10pm to 4:30pm in the New Year. The service is for people who have difficulty accessing their nearest public library.

The mobile library carries approximately 2,500 items. There is free access to many online resources including downloadable audio books, newspapers and more. For further information, to renew or request items or access online resources from your PC/tablet/mobile phone please phone 087 9135229. It is possible to borrow up to 12 items on a fortnightly basis.

Now for the best bit – membership is free!

To join, please bring one source of ID, showing your name and address on your first visit to the Mobile Library.

The 2020 Roundwood & District Historical & Folklore Society Journal is packed with great articles of local interest. It is now available for sale in the following places; in Roundwood – Keeley’s Hardware, Centra, Keith Grant Butchers, Sugar Mountain Cafe; in Laragh at Mc Coy’s Store and Filling Station; In Newtown at the Post Office and Eugene’s Stores and in Wicklow at Bridge Street Books. It is also journal available to purchase on line, via the website www.roundwoodhistoricalsociety.ie .   


ALONE, the organisation that supports older people is operating a national support line and additional supports for older people who have concerns or are facing difficulties relating to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in Ireland.
