As we are in lockdown again blankets, cardigans, hats, mitts and bootees are needed for the premature babies for The Coombe, Crumlin and Wexford hospitals.

Thanks to everyone who has donated to date it is very much appreciated.

Masses are back on line so check your Facebook pages for times, or church media for those on their website.

Please everyone stay safe and well, the best way of doing that at the moment is staying at home, if you need to go out for shopping please make sure and wear your mask, social distance and sanitize your hands.

I know most of us have been doing that since March and looks like we have to do it for a lot longer. Mind yourself and remember there is lots of things we can do to keep us occupied, ie reading, word searches, jigsaws, knitting or crochet, sewing, go for walks within our 5km, baking, remember also to check on elderly neighbors or just give them a ring occasionally and chat with them.

Stay safe and please god we will get through this.

I appeal to Dog owners please when you are out walking with your dogs and they need to go please please can you use the dog bags to pick it up off the pathways , it’s terrible when your out walking and it’s on the pathways, especially I notice it along by the church walls and on the Main Street, can we not go for a walk without having to avoid this along the way, it’s terrible if you step in it and then have to get into your car to drive home, please please dog owners can you pick up after them so walkers can enjoy their walk.

Thank you so so much.

Carnew GAA lotto was not won, numbers were 8,11,19,26, lucky dips were Paula Hall and John Somers, the next draw is 1st February and the jackpot is €7,300, if you would like to take part and are not sure how to set it up on line contact any of the committee and they will help you set it up.

Thanks to everyone for their support to date.
