The charity Heroes Aid has commissioned a portrait of Vicky Phelan which will be auctioned with all proceeds going to help frontline healthcare workers during the Covid pandemic.
Vicky was chosen for the portrait as Heroes Aid wanted to find a lasting way to pay tribute to the incredible legacy of advocacy she will leave behind.
Vicky is also the patient advocate and board member of the charity Heroes Aid.
The auction takes place at 2pm next Thursday 4th of February.
Due to Covid restrictions the sale will take place entirely online, but it will be controlled by Sheppards Irish Auction House in Durrow Co Laois. The artist behind the work is Vincent Devine from Tullamore Co Offaly.
