Annacurra notes week March 1st

Bowls Club

We extend our sympathy to our colleagues Ann and Jack Lynch, and all the Deveraux families on the passing of Anne’s brother Billy Deveraux, RIP.

Unfortunately our members cannot attend funerals at present. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

It’s a year next week since our bowls club ceased bowling (shortly before it became compulsory to do so.)

We never envisaged the Epidemic would last so long. Hopefully with the vaccines on the horizon, we will be able to return to bowls in the autumn.

Gaa Club

Annacurra GAA would like to extend its sincere condolences to the family of Billy Devereux on his recent passing. Billy played juvenile football for Annacurra. We would like to express our deepest sympathy at this time. May he rest in peace.
