Credit Union News
Baltinglass Credit Union wishes to thank their members for tuning in to their very first Virtual AGM which was held using the Zoom platform on Wednesday the 24th February @ 7pm. It was a great success.
Members could vote where necessary, submit questions & propose/second the reports all by keeping safe in the comfort of their own homes. In December 2020, the government published the Finance (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2020, which enables Credit Unions to convene wholly or partially their AGMs virtually, so Baltinglass Credit Union took on the challenge of hosting it virtually, and without fault.
Some of the items mentioned at the AGM was the recent launch of ‘Sign For Your Loan At Home’. This is a great addition to the services of Baltinglass Credit Union. Members can complete the full loan process (apply, submit documentation, sigh forms and have the funds sent directly to their bank account) all while staying safe at home. This is not a limited service but an additional one that we hope Members will use and benefit from.
