SYMPATHY
Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Kathleen Murphy nee Kavanagh, Kiltealy/Craanford who died last week and was buried in Kiltealy on Wednesday.


MASSES
Masses are back in churches from 10th May.

Saturday evenings Coolfancy 6pm, Shilleagh 7pm, Carnew 8pm. Kilrush 6pm.

Sunday morning Tomacork 8.45am, Coolfancy 10am, Carnew 11.15am, Kilrush 10am, Askamore 11am.

Weekday masses

Carnew on Monday and Wednesday at 7.30pm. Tomacork Friday morning at 9am, Coolfancy Monday morning 9.30am, Shillelagh 9.30am. Kilrush 9.30 am Monday-Friday.

ASKAMORE COMMUNITY COUNCIL 

We’ve been really busy here behind the scenes while everything has been closed down, we’ve been preparing to open up with some really exciting new facilities!         

New digital classes & courses including learning about the basics of zoom, using social media for your business & digital marketing. This is with thanks to the mitigating against educational disadvantage fund #WWETB 

New remote/working from home hub with hot desks, high speed wifi network & conference facilities    

Coffee Dock

Askamore Coffee Dock will be opening towards the end of May and will be serving delicious teas and coffees and will also have a selection of cold drinks & icecreams for the summer days (or winter, we won’t judge!) and you can sit down on our new picnic benches either at the hall or in the park while enjoying it 

Askamore Mens Shed

Askamore Mens Shed, a place where men of all ages can come together in a safe environment to talk, to have a cup of tea, to learn new skills & meet new friends

We are so excited with our new projects and we’re looking forward to seeing you all soon!

BINGO 

Carnew GAA are holding drive in bingos on Sunday 16th May at 2pm in the GAA grounds.Single book €10, double €15, baby €5.  1 line €30, two lines €50, full house €100, every 3rd page €200, Jackpot sheet €3 or two for €5, 1 line €50, two lines €100, full house €500. Single sheet €3 or two for €5, 1 line €50,, two lines €100, full house €200.

Split The Pot

The lucky winners of our Split the Pot draw who won €224 was the Molloy Family. Congratulations.The winner of our sellers draw who won a €10 voucher for Victors was Donal Moore and the lucky dip winners were Emily and Niamh Wafer.

Congratulations to all. Our next split the pot draw is Friday 14th May.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Margaret (Greta) Whelan, nee Allen, Walkinstown, Dublin and formerly Carnew who died during the week.

To the family and relatives of Lena Elliott nee Byrne, Coollattin Road, Carnew who died during the week and will be cremated on Wednesday after 1pm mass in Carnew.
