Carnew notes week May 31st

Wishing all students the best of luck in their exams especially all who are doing their leaving Cert.

Carnew Community Care Pop up Shop on the Main Street will reopen on Friday 4th June at 9am.

We look forward to welcoming all our customers back (Covid 19 restrictions are still in place), we are now taking in donations of clothing and items for the shop, unfortunately we cannot take in donations of pillows, duvets, toys or electrical goods.

Please ring Kathleen beforehand to organise a time to drop off your items on 0539426510. Unfortunately we cannot accept donations without calling in advance.


Carnew GAA lotto was not won, numbers were 13,15,16,30, lucky dips were Christina Kinsella and Sean Cosgrove, the next draw is 7th June at 9pm and the jackpot is €8,200, tickets can be bought on line or in the local shops.


The winner of our split the pot draw of Scoil Aodan Naofa Carnew  who won €235 was Patty Collins. Congratulations .
The winner of our seller’s draw who won a €10 voucher for Victors was  Roisín KInsella and the lucky dip winner was Karen O’Brien. Our next split the pot draw takes place on Thursday 3rd June.Thank you for your continued support. 

Masses are back in churches on Saturday evenings Coolfancy 6pm, Shilleagh 7pm, Carnew 8pm. Kilrush 6pm.

Sunday morning Tomacork 8.45am, Coolfancy 10am, Carnew 11.15am, Kilrush 10am, Askamore 11am.Weekday masses in Carnew on Monday and Wednesday at 7.30pm.

Tomacork Friday morning at 9am, Coolfancy Monday morning 9.30am, Shillelagh 9.30am.

Kilrush 9.30 am Monday-Friday
