Greystones Drive-In Movies|Supporting Local National Schools

The big 45 metre square screen arrives to support local national schools.

Four screenings,  Saturday and Sunday,  12 and 13 June 2021.

Greystones Drive-In will be located in Priestnewtown,  opposite Kilquade Cemetery.

Safe,  socially distanced and fun source of entertainment for families and local community.

Draft Wicklow County Development Plan 2021-2027

Draft plan is now available for viewing.

The plan outlines how our county will be developed over the next six years.

The plan is an important document.

The plan may be viewed at Greystones Municipal District,  Mill Road,  Greystones.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions,  please ring GMD at 01.2876694 to arrange a viewing.

Closing date for submissions is Monday,  16 August 2021 at 5:00 pm.

Late submissions will not be accepted.

Community Enhancement Programme (CEP) 2021

Wicklow Local Community Development Committee (LCDC)

Applications are available for small-scale capital projects.

Projects that will enhance community facilities for individuals and communities.

Applications are invited from voluntary groups and not-for-profit organisations.

Projects must comply with Co. Wicklow’s Local Economic and Commmunity Plan.

Small grants will be available for:

  • Repairs and renovations.
  • Costs associated with re-opening of a facility post COVID-19.
  • Sustainability of a facility,  including costs such as utility bills.

Grants available up to €1,000 for small projects and over €1,000 for larger projects.

Projects must demonstrate that they address disadvantage and comply with LECP.

Closing date is Friday,  2 July 2021.
