Active Retirement
Our Tea/Coffee morning for our Active Retirement group is still going ahead as it is an outside in the car park of the centre abiding by government guidelines. It will take place on Tuesday morning 13th July from 11am to 12.30pm. It would be great to see all our members again after such a long break. Come along in the morning for a chat, cup of tea and slice of cake and new members are always welcome. For further information contact Denise or any of the girls in the centre 0404 45600.
Tidy Towns News
Thank you to everyone helping with the clean up of the village this month. Our application has been sent in last week and we are mindful of our community looking at its best for the upcoming visit from the Tidy Town Competition adjudicators.
Progress has been made this year in our community. New members have joined the group with some projects like the Brockagh Trail and Ballard Trail making great strides.
Laragh Community Garden has been a hive of activity with gardeners meeting for tea and cake, sharing ideas, sowing more fruit trees and installing a bird box.
Brockagh Resource Centre
Unfortunately due to the delay in government restrictions lifting, we will not be able to open the centre for the month of July. We apologise for any inconvenience but unfortunately it’s out of our hands.
Clothes Bank & Recycling Service
Give your unwanted clothes to the Brockagh Resource Centre clothes bank, located at the back of the building. All proceeds are in aid of the centre’s maintenance. You can also empty your glass and drink cans in the other recycle banks too.
If you wish to make a booking call (0404) 45600 or email brockaghoffice@gmail.com. Check out up to date information on our website at www.brockaghresourcecentre.ie or check us out on FB and Twitter
