A Big Beach Clean for Greystones South Beach will take place this year.

Saturday,  18 September 2021 at 10.00 am.

During the clean,  volunteers will be asked to carry out marine litter surveys.

These surveys will quantify the amount and types of litter on Irish beaches.

They are aimed at raising awareness about the issue of marine litter.

Last year,  300 clean ups took place all over Ireland.
