A new 6 week Meditation & Yoga Nidra Course starts on Tuesday November 2nd at 8pm Online on zoom.

Yoga Nidra is a type of meditation practiced lying down. You’ll be guided through breathing practices, body scans and visualizations.  This is a thoroughly relaxing practice and very helpful to anyone who struggles with sleep. 6 week course €50. Call/text Yvonne on 0876778733 if interested or for more info. Go to YVONNEDOYLE.COM for full schedule of classes.

Remembrance Blanket

The remembrance blanket is currently on display in the Church of the Most Sacred Heart.  The blanket was created by local people in memory of their beloved babies who died around the time of birth.  You can drop by, say a prayer and light a candle for the babies and their families.

Mass of Remembrance

The Vigil Mass on Saturday evening November 13th at 7pm in Church of the Sacred Heart will be celebrated to remember parishioners who have passed away in the last year. Parishioners wishing to have a family member remembered at this mass should leave their name with a member of the parish pastoral council in the church sacristy.

Thank you

I wish to thank each and every one of you for your donations. This fundraiser has meant so much to me and I am literally gob smacked at how much has been raised by the Sheep Sale in Carnew Mart.

I want to thank the mart and all its staff on the day for the huge effort they put in, each and every farmer who donated sheep, private donations and the Gofundme account.

Thank you to the other Marts for their donations. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

All of the monies are going directly to The St James hospital’s Lymphoma and Haematology Unit. It will help them in furthering improvements in treatment for their patients and in research for new drugs to fight cancer in all. The total raised is in excess of €73,000.

The Gofundme account will be closing shortly. Words cannot express my gratitude and the thanks from my wider family, neighbours and friends.

Thank you all so very much. Richie.
