Banks in Carnew, Rathdrum and Tinahely closed down

Bank of Ireland branches in Carnew, Rathdrum and Tinahely locked their doors for the final time yesterday, with the branch in Tullow often used by people from the Wicklow area set to close.

The three Wicklow branches are among 88 different branches across the country which will be closed.

Banks services such as cash withdrawals and lodgements will now be available through local Post Offices.
